Pittwater Student Summer School returns 7-13 February 2027

“This trip was truely a life and perspective changing experience. If I could come back every year I would!!”
— Attendee 2025

Applications are now open for the renowned Architecture Student Summer School at Pittwater on Sydney’s northern beaches to be held 7-13 February 2027, led by two of Australia’s most celebrated architects; Richard Leplastrier AO and Peter Stutchbury. This is the only masterclass of its kind that gives you close access to two recipients of the Australian Institute of Architects Gold Medal over the course of a week!

This immersive, residential masterclass is an opportunity for a small number of students of architecture to start the academic year in an environment supported by tutorials in landscape, architecture and indigenous understanding of country.

Numbers are strictly limited to architecture students currently enrolled in a university course in architecture. Lose yourself in a week where the Murcutt Foundation takes care of all meals, ferry transfers, coach excursion to houses, visit to the Richard Leplastrier house Lovett Bay and visit to Peter Stutchbury offices in Newport. Live, eat, sleep and share architecture with some of its masters.
